Intellectual property protection in China remains a major concern for foreign businesses and a key target for establishment reforms. Are you doing business in China? Speakers
Wen Li has studied international economic law in Chinese university and obtained her bachelor’s degree. Then she obtained her LL.M. degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam. After graduation, she worked for the French law firm of Gide Loyrette Nouel in Beijing, then the English firm Bird & Bird in the Netherlands and Hongkong, and the Dutch law firm of Buren Legal in the Hauge. She’s qualified to practice law in Mainland China in 2000. Currently She’s the owner of a Chinese law firm Jin Lawyers based in Beijing. This firm was established in 2014. Over 95% of their clients are international companies with business in China. Jin Lawyers is specialized in foreign investment laws, contract laws and intellectual property laws. They also litigate for their international clients.
Roland is managing director at VebaBox Cool Solutions (Netherlands). VebaBox Cool Solutions develop, produce and sale flexible cooling and freezing units for conditioned transport of goods. VebaBox is also active in China and Roland will speak about their experience with IP and other challenges as a foreign company in China.
Roland graduated in business administration and has broad experience as a sales and general manager within various technology companies (SAFT, ION Energy, Uniross, Koninklijke Bammes, GS-Hydro).
