International technology disputes have dramatically risen, and are increasingly emerging across all industry sectors, including information technology, intellectual property, life sciences, aerospace, aviation, construction, and energy. Because of this growth, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution® (ICDR) and ITechLaw are collaborating in a global effort to obtain and study the feedback of experienced international practitioners on the use of arbitration and mediation in the resolution of technology disputes of all types. The results will be documented in a report setting forth practical proposals for what the dispute resolution community, including the ICDR, should do to assist the information technology and other industries in resolving their technology and intellectual property-related disputes.
